SHIKOKU LOCAL CHARM – VISITING IS BELIEVING

高松空港を発着し、大歩危・祖谷・琴平、高松駅を運行する定期路線バスや高松港を発着する小豆島行き客船を活用した旅を欧米豪人(欧米系FIT 向け)に対して PR する映像を制作した。 「四国の地方ならではの魅力」という、都市圏と比較した明確な地域性とその魅力をわかりやすく表現し、主に都市圏を経由してくる旅行者や、これから旅先を検討する旅行者に向けて、”人を惹きつける力”という意味合いがある「CHARM」という言葉を使用することで四国地方はとても魅力がある場所ということを表現した。 また、サブタイトルには百聞は一見に如かずということわざ「SEEING IS BELIEVING」をアレンジして「訪れてこそわかる」というタイトルをつけることで体験やその魅力への付加価値づけをした。

We produced a video to promote travel to Europeans, Americans, and Australians (for Western FITs) using the regular buses that run from Takamatsu Airport to and from Oboke, Iya, Kotohira, and Takamatsu Station, as well as the cruise ships to Shodoshima that depart from Takamatsu Port. The video was designed to express in an easy-to-understand manner the distinct regional characteristics and attractions of the Shikoku region compared to the urban areas, as well as the "power to attract people" to the region, mainly for travelers coming from the urban areas and those who are considering their travel destinations. The word "CHARM," which means "the power to attract people," was used to express that the Shikoku region is a very attractive place. The subtitle, "Seeing is Believing," is an adaptation of the proverb, "Seeing is believing," to add value to the experience and its appeal.
